Plain-Language Summary

O'Leary Plumbing & Heating, Inc. (doing business as O'Leary Plumbing, Heating & Electrical, "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. We collect only the information we need to schedule, perform, and follow up on your plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, and water-quality services. We do not sell your personal information. If you give us your phone number to receive service updates or text messages, we use it only for that purpose and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP. We work hard to keep your information secure, and you have the right to ask us what we have about you and to have it deleted.

Who We Are

O'Leary Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a Wisconsin corporation operating across Walworth, Waukesha, and Racine Counties. Our principal place of business is 2720 Buell Drive, East Troy, WI 53120. You can reach us at (262) 642-7747 or [email protected].

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact details — name, address, phone, email, and the property address where service is needed when you fill out a form, request a quote, or call us.
  • Service details — descriptions of the work needed, equipment in your home, photos you choose to send, and notes from prior visits.
  • Payment information — when you pay for service or finance an install, we collect billing information. Card data is processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Financing applications — when you apply for financing through Synchrony Financial, the application is processed by Synchrony under their privacy policy. We receive only an approve/decline status and the loan terms.

Information collected automatically

  • Website analytics — pages visited, referring source, approximate location (city/state from IP), device and browser type, and similar usage information, via Google Analytics 4 and similar tools.
  • Call tracking — when you call a number on this site, the call is tracked through our scheduling and dispatch system (Service Titan) so we can return calls, dispatch the right technician, and improve service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see "Cookies and Tracking" below.

Sources of Information

  • Directly from you (forms, calls, in-home visits)
  • Automatically from your device when you use this site
  • From third parties only when needed to complete a service you requested (e.g., a financing partner, equipment manufacturer, or utility-rebate program like Focus on Energy)

How We Use Your Information

  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on the services you requested
  • Answer your questions and provide written estimates
  • Send service appointment reminders and follow-up communications
  • Process payments and, where you applied for it, financing through Synchrony Financial
  • Improve our website, content, and the technician experience in your home
  • Comply with our legal obligations (tax, regulatory, code-compliance, manufacturer warranty registration)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Who We Share Information With

We disclose information only to:

  • Service providers who help us run the business: scheduling and dispatch (Service Titan), payment processors, email/SMS providers, hosting and analytics providers, our website partner (CI Web Group), and our financing partner (Synchrony Financial). These providers handle your information only on our instructions.
  • Equipment manufacturers and rebate administrators when needed to register warranties or claim a rebate you qualify for (e.g., York equipment-replacement rebates, Focus on Energy).
  • Legal and safety — when we are required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights of others.
  • Business transfers — if we ever sell or transfer the business, your information may transfer with it under the same protections described here.

Text Messaging (SMS) — TCPA & A2P 10DLC

When you provide a mobile number on one of our forms and check the SMS consent box, you give your express written consent for O'Leary Plumbing, Heating & Electrical to send you service-related text messages, including appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival notifications, and follow-up service updates. We do not use SMS for marketing without a separate, specific opt-in.

  • Message frequency: variable; tied to your appointments and service activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
  • To opt out at any time: reply STOP. You will receive a final confirmation message.
  • For help: reply HELP or call (262) 642-7747.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We follow the CTIA and A2P 10DLC consumer-protection guidelines.
  • Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in status are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are essential (session, security) and analytics (Google Analytics 4) by default. You can disable analytics in your browser settings, install browser extensions to block them, or use a private/incognito session.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where applicable. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though we do not sell or share in the way California law defines those terms.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on . For ad-tracking opt-outs across the broader web see the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tool and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool .

How Long We Keep Information

We keep customer records (service history, invoices, warranty registrations) for as long as the customer relationship continues and for a reasonable period after, consistent with our legal, tax, accounting, and warranty obligations (generally 7 years for financial records). Marketing-only contacts are kept until you ask to be removed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, payments are tokenized by our payment processor, and we restrict access to information on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our site contains links to third-party sites (manufacturers, partner sites, social platforms, Synchrony Financial). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Your Privacy Choices

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Categories of personal information we collect. Through this website, O'Leary Plumbing, Heating & Electrical collects: identifiers and internet activity collected by analytics tools (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, device/browser information, and pages viewed via Google Analytics 4); and contact information you submit through our forms (such as name, email address, phone number, and service details).

"Selling" and "sharing." We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of third-party analytics and advertising cookies that support cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute "sharing" (and in some cases "selling") of personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA.

Your rights. California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.120, §1798.121 — including limiting use of sensitive personal information), the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

How to opt out of sale/sharing. You can opt out in either of two ways: (1) use the consent choice presented on this website (or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of every page, which brings you to this section), and decline non-essential cookies; or (2) enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser — this website honors GPC automatically as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing, with no further action required.

Contact. To exercise any of these rights — your right to know, delete, or correct under US state law — or to ask any question about this section, contact O'Leary Plumbing, Heating & Electrical at [email protected] or (262) 642-7747. We will verify your request and respond within the timelines required by law.
